Vitaliy and Hennadiy, Ukrainian defenders currently receiving prosthetic care in New York, participated in a farewell event honoring Ukraine’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Ambassador Sergiy Kyslytsya. The event took place at the Ukrainian Institute of America in New York. It was attended by diplomats, prominent members of the Ukrainian diaspora, and other notable guests who gathered to express their gratitude to Ambassador Kyslytsya, whose powerful voice at the UN has become a symbol of Ukraine’s resilience and the unwavering spirit of its people.
For our defenders, this was a special opportunity to personally thank Ambassador Kyslytsya for his support of humanitarian initiatives aimed at helping Ukrainians.
During the event, Vitaliy and Hennadiy had the chance to network with Ukrainian community and share their stories. Their presence at this event served as living testimony to the importance of international support for Ukraine and its defenders.
