We’re proud to share that Kind Deeds has officially received the Platinum Seal of Transparency from Candid (formerly GuideStar)—the highest level of recognition for nonprofit transparency in the United States.

This status reflects our commitment to openness, accountability, and measurable impact in everything we do. By reaching the Platinum level, we’ve joined a small percentage of U.S. nonprofits that meet Candid’s rigorous standards, making this a meaningful milestone for our organization.

Why it matters

Being transparent isn’t just a checkbox for us—it’s an integral part of how we build trust with our supporters, partners, and the community we serve. The Platinum Seal affirms that we publicly share detailed information about our mission, leadership, financials, program outcomes, and long-term goals.

What helped us achieve it

This recognition comes as a result of our consistent and growing efforts over the past three years. Some highlights that contributed to this milestone include:

  • Helping 54 wounded Ukrainian soldiers receive prosthetics and complete rehabilitation in New York through our intensive care program.
  • Covering all related costs—from prosthetics and rehab to airfare, housing, and psychological support.
  • Creating individualized treatment plans in collaboration with doctors and therapists.
  • Planning for growth, including expanding our services to include PTSD treatment and increasing the number of patients we can help each quarter.

We’re incredibly grateful to our volunteers, donors, partners, and medical teams for making this work possible. This recognition belongs to all of you.

Together, we’re restoring not just limbs—but dignity, independence, and hope.
